Lowstreet House
Lowstreet House is conceived as a quiet composition of horizontal layers placed gently within the landscape. The architecture seeks lightness and clarity, allowing proportion, light, and space to define the character of the home.
A continuous white volume forms the upper level, its softly curved edges reducing the visual weight of the building while creating deep overhangs that filter daylight. Below, a darker natural base anchors the structure to the ground, establishing a calm contrast between light and depth.
Large glass surfaces dissolve the boundary between interior and exterior. The living spaces open toward the surrounding landscape, allowing seasonal light and views to become part of the daily experience. Circular openings appear as subtle moments within the composition, introducing softness into the strict horizontal rhythm.
Lowstreet House is an exploration of quiet modern living, where architecture becomes a background for light, nature, and everyday life.
