Echo Clinic
A quiet and restrained volume sits gently within the landscape of Šiauliai. The clinic is conceived as a calm architectural presence — simple, monolithic, yet softened by rhythm and light.
The exterior appears as a continuous concrete envelope, cut by a sequence of deep arches that form the main façade. These openings create a gradual transition between outside and inside, filtering light and offering sheltered spaces for arrival. Vertical wooden elements introduce warmth and scale, allowing the building to feel both civic and human.
Behind the arches, transparent glazing reveals a softly illuminated interior. The clinic becomes less of an object and more of an atmosphere — a place defined by light, shadow, and quiet movement.
The surrounding landscape remains intentionally minimal. A simple row of slender trees frames the façade, reinforcing the rhythm of the architecture while keeping the focus on space, proportion, and calm.
The project seeks clarity rather than expression. It is a building that does not dominate its surroundings, but instead creates a composed and welcoming environment for care.
